European Bank for Reconstruction and Development supports Elemental’s battery recycling project with a loan of up to 25 million EUR
Our project of development of battery recycling plant in Poland has gained acknowledgement from another large European institution. European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has just approved a loan of up to 25 million EUR for the development of our battery recycling plant in Poland. One of the main reasons for this decision was the fact, that our innovative technology of battery recycling will have a very positive impact on the reduction of CO2 emmissions. Producing metals of strategic importance for EU energy transition from waste instead of mining can lead to carbon savings as high as 98%.
